BP2 - Blood Pressure and ECG
BP2 is a combination of a blood pressure monitor with an ECG monitor. The device is ideally suited for monitoring all kinds of heart diseases, such as heart failure, high blood pressure and arrhythmias.
The device works on an internal rechargeable battery that can be charged at a USB port with the supplied USB cable. A full battery allows about 500 measurements.
The memory stores the last 50 blood pressure measurements and 10 ECG recordings.
Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, the device can send the measured data to the free smartphone application.
Blood pressure
Measuring blood pressure is very simple: the cuff is put on the arm and the measurement starts by simply pressing the button. The result with the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate appears on the screen.
The device is suitable for people with an upper arm circumference between 22 and 42 cm.
The free app keeps track of all results and can display trend graphs.
ECG - Electrocardiogram
The device can also record a single channel ECG between the 2 hands, or between one hand and the abdomen or chest. All you have to do is activate the function and touch the 2 electrodes on the side of the device. During the measurement, the ECG appears on the screen of the device.
The measurement takes 30 seconds and then the rhythm and the speed of the heartbeat are assessed.
The result can be downloaded in the app where the full route can be viewed.
